30th January 2013 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: 35-40 knots Surf / Sea State: Big Messy Surf Air Temperature: 9ºC Sea Temperature: 8ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: 30 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: Windsurfing has taken a back seat lately thanks to my triathlon training, but today was blowing a hoolie and the sun was shining so it couldn't be missed. Well powered (stacked at times) on my 4.5m sail and little JP Wave board. No one else around but perfect conditions for blasting about close to the beach with some perfect ramps for some huge huge jumps. GoPro was running so I was aiming for the biggest jumps possible and some were huge but unfortunately once again the GoPro failed me and wasn't actually working. Oh well, it was fun anyway even if only for a short while thanks to running before hand and cycling afterwards... My work is never done! |
